Marc founded SKY HSC College and still teaches every Chemistry class himself — no handing classes to junior tutors; the founder is the one at the whiteboard.

Teaching Experience

He has taught Chemistry for 25 years (ATAR 99.85 · Bachelor of Engineering, University of Sydney) and built the systems every SKY class runs on: the Term 3 Head Start and the 1-3-6-7 revision cycle.

Teaching Experience

With over 15 years of experience teaching Physics and Years 9–10 Mathematics, I bring both subject expertise and a genuine passion for helping students truly understand what they’re learning.

　 　

Path to Teaching

My journey into teaching began unexpectedly. I initially studied Medicine straight out of high school but found myself searching for a deeper sense of purpose. What started as a part-time tutoring job soon became a calling. The joy of helping students grasp complex ideas and grow in confidence made me realise that education was where I truly belonged.

　 　

Academic Focus

I eventually left Medicine to pursue a career in secondary education, majoring in Physics — a subject I’ve always loved for its logic, beauty, and the way it challenges us to think, question, and reason.

I believe that learning isn’t just about memorising — it’s about understanding, curiosity, and discovery. My goal is to help students see connections between ideas, appreciate the “why” behind each concept, and build lasting confidence in their ability to learn.

Background

Eric graduated from The King’s School in 2012 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney.

　 　

Journey into Teaching

While studying at university, Eric began tutoring part-time and quickly discovered his passion for helping students succeed.
Despite having trained for a career in law, he chose to pivot into education, dedicating himself to teaching.

For the past 11 years, Eric has been teaching Mathematics and Physics at SKY HSC College, where he has supported countless students in gaining confidence and achieving strong results in these challenging subjects.

🌟 Meet Jean — Mathematics Tutor

Academic Background

Jean is a third-year student at the University of Sydney, pursuing a combined Bachelor of Science and Master of Mathematical Sciences.

　 　

Teaching Experience

He has over two years of experience teaching Mathematics, specialising in Mathematics Advanced and Extension 1 (Years 11–12) Mathematics. Jean has a strong understanding of the NESA Stage 6 curriculum, particularly in Extension topics.

Jean designs tailored lessons that meet each student’s needs, helping them build conceptual understanding and confidence. Whether reinforcing foundational skills or tackling challenging Extension problems, he teaches with clarity, structure, and patience.

Academic Background

Lucy Pan was a top-ranked Advanced English student at her high school and English Extension 1, and is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Laws at the University of New South Wales.

　 　

Teaching Experience

She has been tutoring since 2023, providing one-on-one support for Year 12 students in HSC English. Lucy has helped students strengthen their essay writing, textual analysis, and exam techniques through detailed, constructive feedback.

　

Teaching Approach

Lucy focuses on delivering tailored, personalised assistance for each student. Her lessons emphasise clarity, structure, and confidence-building across all forms of assessment, helping students develop both their analytical and creative writing skills.

Lucy also teaches EAL/D, supporting students for whom English is an additional language or dialect.

Academic Background

Wilfred holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Advanced Studies (History) from the University of Sydney. He also has a Certificate II in Peer Literacy Tutoring from TAFE.

Wilfred has over seven years of teaching experience and has been a key member of SKY HSC College’s English faculty. He has taught students from Years 7 through 12, helping them achieve top marks in the HSC.

Academic Background

Samuel holds a Master of Educational Psychology from the University of Sydney, a Bachelor of Arts (English and Art History) from the University of Auckland, and a Diploma of Education from UNSW.

　 　

Teaching Experience

Samuel has over 20 years of teaching experience in leading independent schools across Sydney. He specialises in HSC English Advanced, Extension 1, and enrichment programs for senior students. He has also been an HSC marker and judge marker since 2006.

Samuel combines his deep understanding of pedagogy with practical classroom experience to help students reach their highest potential in English. His lessons focus on developing critical thinking, creativity, and analytical skills.

　 Teaching Experience She has 5+ years of experience teaching English in secondary school settings, specialising in Years 7–12 across Standard, Advanced, and Extension 1. Jennifer has a strong understanding of the NSW English curriculum across both junior secondary (Years 7–10) and senior secondary (Years 11–12), with a particular focus on HSC preparation.

　 　

　 Teaching Approach Jennifer uses the frameworks of the NSW English syllabus to guide students toward independent thinking, confident questioning, and genuine engagement with texts.
